John Keells Holdings appointed Ascentis to lead a major “Design Uplift” and value engineering programme on Cinnamon Life—a 4.5 million ft² mixed-use development in Colombo, Sri Lanka. Designed by acclaimed architect Cecil Balmond, the project includes an 800-key hotel, two residential towers, a commercial tower, shopping mall, and a conference centre.

Pinnacle is Dhaka’s first 40-storey commercial tower, rising 150 metres with the tallest sloped roof in the country. The landmark project features 5 basements with parking for 367 cars, a grand 45-ft high atrium entrance, and 500,000 sq ft of premium space. It is the first LEED Platinum pre-certified high-rise in Dhaka, incorporating advanced fire safety systems, a state-of-the-art Building Management System, professional landscaping, and energy-efficient lighting.

The JW Marriott Hotel New Delhi Aerocity was developed as a flagship luxury hotel near Indira Gandhi International Airport, featuring 523 guestrooms, multiple dining venues, and a large pillarless ballroom. Led by Ascentis, the project was delivered in 2013 despite airport-related construction constraints.

Mahananda Spa & Resort engaged Ascentis to lead the development of the Westin Resort & Spa, Himalayas, a 141-key luxury retreat perched in the foothills of Rishikesh. The site’s dramatic terrain and ecological sensitivity presented unique design and delivery challenges. The property overlooks a pristine valley and was envisioned as a premium wellness destination in northern India.

Opened in 1864, the Galle Face Hotel is one of Asia’s oldest and most storied hotels, overlooking Galle Face Green in Colombo. Ascentis joined the project mid-stream to guide the 30-month renovation of the North Wing, restoring heritage spaces and upgrading facilities while the hotel remained fully operational.

We are delivering full-scope project and construction management for this landmark dual-brand hotel.

In 2018, Chanel selected Ascentis to deliver its flagship boutique at Promenade Mall, New Delhi. The project followed a Design and Build model, covering detailed design development, prototyping, and full fit-out. Before this store, Chanel imported all custom furniture from Dubai. For this project, they challenged Ascentis to fabricate a complicated furniture piece with intricate joinery as a test of local capability.

Originally developed as part of Accor’s budget brand Formule 1, these hotels in India were designed for simple, compact stays with minimal amenities. After the portfolio was acquired by SAMHI Hotels, Ascentis was appointed to convert the properties into Holiday Inn Express hotels, upgrading them to a mid-scale standard while working within the constraints of the existing buildings.
